The State of Qatar strongly condemns the fresh attacks on the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and considers them a flagrant violation of its sovereignty and territorial integrity and a blatant breach of international law and the United Nations Charter.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasizes that the continuation of these assaults represents a dangerous escalation that would complicate ongoing de-escalation efforts and undermine political and diplomatic endeavors aimed at achieving security and stability in the region.
The Ministry stresses the importance of immediately and thoroughly ceasing all military actions and attacks that imperil the security and stability of the region, refraining from all actions that would expand the cycle of escalation, seriously returning to the path of dialogue and negotiations, as well as adhering to the understandings that have been achieved through diplomatic efforts.
The Ministry reiterates the State of Qatar’s full solidarity with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and its support for all measures it takes to safeguard its sovereignty and security.
