HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met separately on Sunday with founders, chairpersons, and executives of a number of companies on the sidelines of the Web Summit Qatar 2026, held in Doha.

The meetings discussed cooperation relations, along with a number of topics of common interest.

Joint Statement by Eight Arab and Islamic countries expressing their strong condemnation of the repeated Israeli violations of the ceasefire in Gaza

The Foreign Ministers of the State of Qatar, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, the Republic of Indonesia, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Republic of Türkiye, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia strongly condemn Israel’s  repeated  violations of the ceasefire in Gaza which have resulted in the killing , and injuring of more than a thousand Palestinians.

These actions risk escalating tensions and undermining efforts aimed at consolidating calm and restoring stability, at a time when regional and international parties are working collectively to advance the second phase of the President Donald Trump’s peace plan and to implement United Nations Security Council Resolution 2803.

The Ministers  consider that these repeated violations constitute a direct threat to the political process and hinder ongoing efforts to create appropriate conditions for transitioning to a more stable phase in the Gaza Strip, both in terms of security and humanitarian conditions, and stress the necessity of full commitment to ensuring the success of the second phase of President Trump peace plan. 

They also call on all parties to fully uphold their responsibilities during this critical period and to exercise the utmost restraint, in order to preserve and sustain the ceasefire, refrain from any actions that may undermine the current process, and create favorable conditions to move forward toward early recovery and reconstruction, as well as advancing a just and lasting peace grounded in the Palestinian right to self-determination and statehood in accordance with international law and relevant UN Security Council resolutions and the Arab peace initiative.

Qatar Joins Second Arab-India Cooperation Forum Ministerial Meeting

Qatar Condemns Attacks in Pakistan’s Balochistan Province

The State of Qatar condemns the attacks that occurred in Balochistan province in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, which resulted in deaths and injuries.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterates the State of Qatar’s firm position rejecting violence, terrorism, and criminal acts in all forms, regardless of their motives or justifications.

The Ministry also expresses the State of Qatar’s sincere condolences to the families of the victims, as well as to the government and people of Pakistan, and extends its wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured.

The State of Qatar Condemns Israel’s Repeated Violations of the Ceasefire in the Gaza Strip

The State of Qatar strongly condemns Israel’s repeated violations of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, which have resulted in the martyrdom and injury of a number of individuals. These actions represent a dangerous escalation that risks further inflaming the situation and undermining regional and international efforts to consolidate calm and restore stability in the Strip.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirms that the continuation of these violations poses a direct threat to the existing political process and obstructs efforts to establish a more secure and stable environment for the suffering Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. The Ministry stresses the need for Israel’s full adherence to the ceasefire agreement to ensure the success of the second phase of the plan proposed by His Excellency U.S. President Donald Trump and the implementation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 2803.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also calls on all parties to exercise maximum restraint and refrain from any actions that could undermine ongoing efforts or hinder the creation of appropriate conditions for initiating the early recovery and reconstruction phase in the Gaza Strip.

Qatar Welcomes Ceasefire Agreement Between the Syrian Government and the Syrian Democratic Forces

The State of Qatar welcomes the Syrian government’s announcement of reaching a ceasefire agreement with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) as part of a comprehensive arrangement. The agreement includes an understanding on the phased integration of military and administrative forces between the two sides. Qatar commends the effective efforts of the friendly United States of America, which contributed to reaching this agreement.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses the State of Qatar’s hope that the agreement will contribute to consolidating civil peace and enhancing security and stability in the brotherly Syrian Arab Republic. It reiterates that Syria’s stability and prosperity require the state to hold a monopoly on the use of force through a single army that represents all Syrian components, thereby ensuring the preservation of the country’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity.

The Ministry also reaffirms the State of Qatar’s full support for Syria’s sovereignty and unity, as well as the aspirations of its brotherly people for stability, development, and prosperity.

Round of Political Consultations between Qatar, Georgia

The 4th round of political consultations between the foreign ministries of the State of Qatar and Georgia was held on Friday in the Georgian capital, Tbilisi.

The Qatari side was headed by HE Secretary General of the Ministry of foreign affairs Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi, while the Georgian side was headed by HE Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexander Khvtisiashvili.

During the round of consultations, they discussed the cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and strengthen them.

The round of consultations was attended by HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Georgia Ali bin Yousef Al Mulla, HE Director of the European Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Fahad bin Mohammed Kafoud, and the accompanying delegation.
